At Montana Screen Doors, custom size screen doors are our specialty. When it comes to oversized doors, the bigger the better! Today's blog is written to clarify what sizes we can make our screen doors, how to order 96" screen doors, and what to expect from shipping. 

Every wooden screen door on our website will allow you to select your width and height from a dropdown selection. The maximum width and height you see are the actual maximum sizes we can build that particular style. With that said, a door such as the Premium Series Full View has a maximum height of 84". Reason being, this style has no cross rails to support being an 8 foot screen door. On the other hand, the Premium Series Classic screen door, with a single cross rail across the middle for more structural support, has a maximum height of 96". 

To order one of these doors, simply select the size you would like from our dropdown. If you need a door built to a fraction of an inch, simply type the needed dimensions in the "Custom Dimensions & Special Instructions" text box. 

When it comes to shipping, you will see that there is an extra cost associated with oversized door options beyond 36" wide and 84" tall. This is because the door no longer fits the requirements for FedEx Ground, therefore these doors will ship LTL. We partner with excellent freight companies to ensure your 8 foot tall screen door or 42" wide screen door can arrive safe and sound!
